Candidates Are Officially Nominated

President Shevardnadze officially nominated candidates on the ministerial posts. As it was anticipated Levan Dzneladze is nominated on the post of the State Minister, Koba Narchemashvili – Internal Affairs Minister’s post, Zurab Soselia (Deputy Minister of Finance) – Tex and Revenues Minister’s post, Giorgi Gachechiladze – Economy, Industry and Trade Minister’s post.

Contender on the post of the General Prosecutor is Internal Affairs Ministry’s high official Nugzar Gabrichidze. 

The rest of the candidates are ex-ministers fired on November 1 as the result of the mass protests.
