Russia is not expected to bomb Pankisi gorge, Georgia, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Georgia announced. “Despite disinformation from the Russian side, there is no reason of panic. Russia will not launch military actions in Pankisi independently from Georgia”, the Ministry’s Spokesman Kakha Sikharulidze stated today.
Officials in Moscow blame Georgia permanently in harboring Chechen terrorists in Pankisi gorge. Georgia denies the accusation.
