Four New Regional Police Chiefs Appointed

Georgia’s Interior Minister Giorgi Mgebrishvili appointed four new regional police chiefs on June 9.

Levan Maisuradze will head the Adjara regional police department, replacing Kakha Bukhradze, who served on the post during the unrest in Batumi on March 12.

Bukhradze will lead the patrol police department in Kvemo Kartli region of Eastern Georgia.

Nikoloz Gadelia was appointed as the police chief in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, while Mikheil Kaladze will take the same post in Shida Kartli.
