Saakashvili: Russia Tries ‘to Revise World Order’
What Russia is now doing is “partial occupation, or occupation” and “the most aggressive attempt to revise the world and European order since the end of the Cold War,” President Saakashvili said on May 13.
“International community will not accept this situation and will act actively. Those who think that it will be swallowed and forgotten after three or five weeks, are wrong; it will not happen,” he said while meeting with state-funded scholarship program alumni. “Presence of foreign illegal military contingent, bringing armament and attempt to blow up the situation is impossible to be accepted and swallowed by the international community. Georgia will also undertake certain legal and political steps; Georgia is regularly coordinating these steps with our friends.”
