Stop ‘Hostile Actions,’ Kremlin Official Tells Tbilisi
There is no need for top level talks between Georgia and Russia until Georgia curbs its ?hostile actions? towards Russia, Modest Kolerov, the Russian presidential administration official in charge of regional relations, told Georgian journalists on October 9.
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said on October 8 that he is ready to meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin ?any time? to defuse tensions between the two countries.
?The problem lies in revising opinions – the problem is not who will take the first steps [towards the dialogue]. The most important thing is to think over the entire system of relations,? Modest Kolerov told Georgian reporters.
