Russian, Georgian Experts Discuss Details of Bases’ Pullout

The delegation of Russian military experts led by Foreign Ministry?s Special Envoy Lev Mironov arrived in Tbilisi on June 8 to discuss technical details of the process of pullout of Russian military bases from Georgia.

The sides will agree over those legal aspects of the agreement, which will help implement the joint declaration signed by the Russian and Georgian Foreign Ministers on May 30, in which Russia pledged to withdraw its bases in the course of 2005-2008.

?We will try to reflect the provisions of the declaration in a legally binding document,? Lev Mironov told reporters upon his arrived in Tbilisi.
