Parliament Disapproves Chkhobadze’s Candidature

(Tbilisi. November 22. Civil Georgia) – The Parliament disapproved Nino Chkhobadze’s candidature on the post of the Minister of Environment and Protection on Natural Resources. 119 MPs were against and only 59 supported the candidature.  

Nino Chkhobadze was the Minister before November 1 when the President fire entire cabinet in the wave of mass protests.

The Parliament discussed 7 candidatures on the ministerial posts so far and disapproved only Nino Chkhobadze.
