Candidate on the Internal Affairs Minister’s Post Vows to Reform the Ministry

(Tbilisi. November 21. Civil Georgia) – Koba Narchemashvili, the candidate on the post of the Internal Affairs Minister stated in his program speech at the Parliamentary session today, that he would cooperate with the international donor organizations to pass reforms within the ministry.

Koba Narchemashvili also announced that in case of his candidature’s approval he intends to appoint one deputy minister responsible for the human rights.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is regularly accused of violating human rights and has a reputation of one of the most corrupted ministry.
