CEC: Voter Turnout 19.8% by Noon

695,948 voters, accounting for 19.8% of total number of voters, turned out at polling stations as of noon in the parliamentary elections, according to the Central Election Commission.

The figure is lower compared to turnout of 25.88%, which was by the midday in 2012 parliamentary elections.

The highest voter turnout by the noon was reported in the election district No.58, covering Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Lentekhi and Mestia municipalities, where 30.5% of voters cast ballot.

The lowest voter turnout by the noon was in Tbilisi’s election district No.9 in Avlabari in – 15.1%.
