PM to Visit Davos for World Economic Forum
Georgian PM Giorgi Kvirikashvili will head to Davos on January 20 for the World Economic Forum.
Georgian PM’s office said on Tuesday that on the sideline of the forum Kvirikashvili plans meetings with his Dutch and Kazakh counterparts, Mark Rutte and Karim Massimov, respectively, as well as with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Switzerland’s President and economic affairs minister Johann Schneider-Ammann, and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland. It said that the PM will also meet former British PM Tony Blair, who paid a brief visit to Tbilisi in November.
The PM will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze; head of the Georgian National Investment Agency Giorgi Pertaia and head of the state-owned Georgian Railway Mamuka Bakhtadze, and CEO of Georgian Co-Investment Fund Giorgi Bachiashvili.
