Georgian PM Visits Brussels
Georgia’s PM Irakli Garibashvili is paying a working visit to Brussels, where a second meeting of the EU-Georgia Association Council will be held on November 16.
The council is a joint body at a ministerial level gathering at least once a year to address issues related to the Association Agreement, signed between the EU and Georgia in 2014.
EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, who visited Tbilisi last week, and Commissioner for European Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn will be co-chairing the council meeting on Monday.
During the two-day visit to Brussels, PM Garibashvili will also meet the President of the European Council Donald Tusk and first vice president of the European Commission Frans Timmermans.
