Azerbaijani President to Visit Georgia
President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, will pay an official visit to Georgia on November 5-6.
He will meet his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Margvelashvili on November 5.
The two presidents will sign a joint declaration on “deepening cooperation in political, security, trade-economic, transit, culture, education and science,” the Georgian president’s office said.
The two presidents plan to visit Marneuli, town in Kvemo Kartli region populated predominantly by ethnic Azerbaijanis, on November 6.
The Azerbaijani President will also meet Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, who paid a brief visit to Baku last month, as well as Parliament Speaker Davit Usupashvili on November 6.
