PACE President Visits Georgia
Anne Brasseur, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), visits Georgia on May 7-8.
In Tbilisi she is meeting Georgian parliament speaker Davit Usupashvili; PM Irakli Garibashvili; President Giorgi Margvelashvili and chairperson of the Supreme Court Nino Gvenetadze on May 7.
She will also visit administrative boundary line with breakaway South Ossetia in the village of Khurvaleti and a settlement for internally displaced persons in Tserovani.
On May 8 Brasseur will arrive in Kutaisi, where she will meet ruling coalition and opposition lawmakers in the Parliament chamber, as well as Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili, who will be in Kutaisi along with other government members as they face confidence vote in the Parliament.
