U.S. Assistant Secretary of State to Visit Georgia
U.S. assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, Victoria Nuland, will visit Tbilisi on February 17 as part of her trip to three South Caucasus states.
In Tbilisi, where she will arrive from Azerbaijan before heading to Armenia, Nuland will meet senior Georgian government officials, opposition and civil society representatives, according to the U.S. Department of State.
She will “discuss a broad range of bilateral and regional issues, including Georgia’s path toward European integration and Georgia’s efforts to defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty,” the U.S. Department of State said.
