CEC: Voter Turnout 28.94% at 3pm

992,712 voters turned out at polling stations in Sunday’s municipal elections as of 3pm local time, which is 28.94% of registered voters, according to the Central Election Commission.

Among the regions, highest voter turnout five hours before the polling stations will close was in Racha-Lechkhumi region – 47%, followed by Guria region – 41%.

The lowest turnout among the regions was reported as of 3pm in Kvemo Kartli region – 25.5%.

Voter turnout in the capital city Tbilisi was 23.8% at 3pm.
