Georgia Welcomes New Government of Ukraine
Georgian Foreign Ministry welcomed formation of new government in Ukraine and wished “success at this very important stage of development.”
It said in a statement on February 27 that Georgia is ready to “cooperate with the new authorities of Ukraine and, if requested, to share with them its extensive experience of state rebuilding.”
“The Georgian Foreign Ministry hopes that the new government will take effective steps to meet expectations of the Ukrainian people, to overcome the crisis, and to ensure the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, the rule of law and the holding of democratic presidential elections. Political and economic stability play a decisive role in securing Ukraine its rightful place in the bigger European family,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
