November GDP Growth 7.8% – Preliminary Data
Georgia’s real GDP grew 7.8% year-on-year in November after 4.1% growth in October, according to preliminary data released by the state statistics office, Geostat, on Tuesday.
According to Geostat, growth for the first eleven months of 2013 was 2.6% y/y.
Government, which initially was forecasting 6% growth for 2013, set GDP growth forecast for 2014 at 5%.
