Georgian Defense Minister Visits France

Georgian Defense Minister, Irakli Alasania, who is visiting Paris will meet his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian to discuss bilateral cooperation, the Georgian MoD said on Wednesday.

During the visit Alasania will also meet “representatives of the French military-industrial complex” at the French General Directorate of Armaments, as well as with Secretary General for Defence and National Security Francis Delon, the Georgian MoD said.

On November 6 Alasania met a group of French lawmakers from Senate’s France–Caucasus friendship group.
