Internal Security Minister of Israel Visits Georgia

Yitzhak Aharonovitch, the Internal Security Minister of Israel, who is visiting Georgia on August 15-18, met Georgian Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Thursday.
“A joint statement of governments of Georgia and the State of Israel on cooperation in fight against crime and in the sphere of public security was signed,” the Georgian Interior Ministry said.
Aharonovitch and Garibashvili first met in May 2013 when the Georgian Interior Minister visited Israel.
The Georgian Interior Ministry said that the Internal Security Minister of Israel would also visit a training base of the Georgian emergency situations department and 112 emergency call center.
