Ex-Head of CEC Goes into Politics
Zurab Kharatishvili, whose resignation from chairmanship of the Central Election Commission (CEC) on August 12 caught many by surprise, said he would go into politics.
“I confirm that I plan political activities,” Kharatishvili told Rustavi 2 TV via phone.
He said he would speak about the details of his political plans at a press conference on August 15.
