New Governor of Shida Kartli Region Appointed

President Saakashvili appointed Zurab Chkheidze as new governor of Shida Kartli region, replacing Andro Barnovi, who has become chief of president’s administration.

Before the promotion, Chkheidze served as deputy governor of Shida Kartli region for last few years.
