Georgian FM to Visit Turkmenistan

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will pay his first official visit to Turkmenistan on January 18-19, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

He will hold talks with his Turkmen counterpart, as well as with President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Nino Kalandadze, said on Monday that “a lot of issues” mainly related to bilateral economic and trade ties would be discussed during the visit.
