Georgia Appoints First-Ever Ambassadors to Argentina, Australia
The Parliament approved on December 6 Georgia’s first-ever ambassadors to Argentina and Australia.
Career diplomat, Alexandre Latsabidze, who previously served in the Georgian embassy in the United States and most recently in Canada, will become ambassador to Argentina.
Vladimir Konstantinidi, who was Georgia’s ambassador to Cyprus, will take the post in Australia.
In other diplomatic reshuffle, the Parliament also approved on December 6 deputy economy minister Abesalom Kekelia as Georgia’s new ambassador to Israel, replacing Vakhtang Jaoshvili.
