War Museum in Ergneti

On August 8, 2017, the War Museum was opened in the village of Ergneti, just several meters away from the occupation line, near Tskhinvali, on the 9th anniversary of the Russian-Georgian war. A local resident, Lia Chlachidze opened the museum in her rehabilitated house, which was burnt down during Russian aggression. The museum stores pieces of shells, burnt toys and other damaged items. Collection of various exhibits and photo materials depicting the war is still underway. The museum exposition will be further enriched.
