Saakashvili Visits Colombia

President Saakashvili is in Colombia to attend inauguration of President-elect Juan Manuel Santos Calderón on August 7.

“For those who deem democratic values important, Colombia is an important country, so I was glad to accept this invitation to attend the inauguration ceremony,” Saakashvili said upon arrival in Bogota.

He has met with the Colombian President-elect, as well as with his counterpart from the Dominican Republic Leonel Fernandez.

President Saakashvili visited Costa Rica in early May, where he attended inauguration of President Laura Chinchilla.
