Saakashvili’s Trip to UAE

President Saakashvili was in United Arab Emirates (UAE) where on Sunday he met with top executive of UAE-based telecommunications company, Etisalat, in Dubai.

Other details of the visit are not available. The Georgian President’s press office has declined to comment.

Saakashvili’s trip to Dubai became public only after Etisalat released a press statement about the meeting between its general manager Ahmed al Jarwan and the Georgian President.

On Monday President Saakashvili addressed 33rd World Congress of Vine and Wine in Tbilisi.
