Georgian FM Visits Syria

Georgian Foreign Minister, Grigol Vashadze, pays a two-day official visit to Syria on May 1-2, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.

Vashadze plans a meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and with his Syrian counterpart he will sign a protocol of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

Signing of an agreement on cooperation in tourism will also be signed during the visit, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
