Bakradze Visits Italy

Georgian Parliamentary Chairman, Davit Bakradze, who visits Italy, met on April 21 with Gianfranco Fini, the chairman of lower house of the parliament, Chamber of Deputies, as well as with some senior members of Italian Senate.

Bakradze’s press office said that the Parliamentary Chairman informed interlocutors about the Georgian government’s strategy towards two breakaway regions and “noted about important role of Italy, as EU-member state, in de-occupation” of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Georgia’s internal political situation and democratic reforms were also discussed, according to the Georgian Parliament’s press office.
