Turkish Reports on Saakashvili’s Brief Visit to Istanbul

President Saakashvili paid a brief visit to Istanbul on March 1, the Turkish media sources reported.

He was greeted at Ataturk Airport by vice governor of Istanbul Ahmet Aydın. Citing official sources, the Turkish media reported that Saakashvili was in Istanbul to meet with a group of businessmen.

Information about the visit was not available from the Georgian President’s administration.
