Two Die as Strong Winds Hit Tbilisi
Strong winds uprooted trees in some of the Tbilisi’s neighborhoods and ripped roof from over hundred houses, mainly in Didube and Gldani-Nadzaladevi district of the capital city, according to the municipal emergency service.
A 45 year-old man died after the wind knocked a tree onto his car in Tbilisi outskirts on February 22; two other passengers in the car were injured.
In a separate case, also on February 22 an outdoor vendor was killed by a falling tree in the suburb of Tbilisi.
