PM Recruits Reuters Reporter as Spokesman

PM Nika Gilauri appointed a long-time Reuter s’ correspondent in Georgia, Niko Mchedlishvili, as his spokesman.

“It will be his duty to hold press conference once in a week to keep you update about the government’s work and to respond your questions,” PM Gilauri told journalists on February 2.

“I will try to make more information available for you,” Mchedlishvili, who worked for Reuters’ for past twelve years, told the journalists.
