New Ambassador to Belarus Appointed

The Parliament approved on December 18 Giorgi Chkheidze as the new Georgian ambassador to Belarus.

He has held various posts in the Foreign Ministry since 1994 and his recent position included head of the department of relations with CIS countries at the Foreign Ministry.
