Three More Die from Swine Flu

Three more persons – two in Tbilisi and one in Batumi – died from H1N1 virus in Georgia, according to the Healthcare Ministry.

The first lethal case was reported on December 12, when a 27-year-old man died in Batumi.

Aleksandre Kvitashvili, the Georgian healthcare minister, said that the reason of lethal outcome was that in all four cases the victims went hospitals too late and called on the population to go to doctors immediately after the first symptoms of the virus emerge.
