First Swine Flu Death in Georgia

A 27-year-old man died of swine flu in Batumi on December 12 – the first H1N1 virus victim in Georgia, Aleksandre Kvitashvili, the Georgian healthcare minister, said.

Georgia has recorded up to 600 cases of swine flu. The Minister said that five people were hospitalized in “grave condition.”
