TV Newscaster to Become Head of President’s Press Office
A newscaster at Rustavi 2 TV, Irakli Maisuradze, will be appointed as head of the President’s press office, replacing Ivane Noniashvili, who became Georgia’s ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Although decision on the appointment has been made, according to the President’s administration, the appointment has yet to be formally finalized.
Last week Manana Manjgaladze, who was an anchor of Imedi TV’s evening news program, was appointed as President Saakashvili’s spokesperson.
