MFA: Russian Occupants ?Kidnapped? Five Georgians
Russian occupants kidnapped five Georgian citizens on November 10, while the latter were fishing in the Georgian territorial waters close to Anaklia and accused them of illegal fishing, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
“Russia continues its chain of extremely dangerous and sordid provocations which has recently acquired the form of hunt for people," the Georgian Foreign Ministry said. "The Kremlin employs such methods in order to extremely escalate the situation on the territories adjacent to Georgia’s occupied regions and provide all preconditions for pushing the conflict into a hot stage."
The Georgian Foreign Ministry demanded immediate release of Georgian citizens and called on the international community "to take respective measures.”
