NATO Envoy Visits Georgia

Robert Simmons, the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, met with Georgian Defense Ministry Bacho Akhalaia in Tbilisi on October 8.

After the meeting Akhalaia told reporters that the issues of Georgia’s participation in international peacekeeping missions as well as “an action plan, which finally serves our integration into NATO” were discussed.
