U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense to Visit Georgia
Alexander Vershbow, the U.S. assistant secretary of defense for international security affairs, will visit Georgia later this month, the Georgian officials said.
MP Akaki Minashvili, the chairman of the Georgian parliamentary committee for foreign affairs, said the visit would underscore deepening ties between the two countries in frames of the strategic partnership charter signed between Tbilisi and Washington in January, 2009.
