GNCC Sets Date for Maestro TV Satellite License Discussion
Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) said on Tuesday it would discuss Tbilisi-based Maestro TV’s request for issuing satellite broadcast license at a session on July 3.
GNCC was originally planned to discuss the issue on June 5, but the session was postponed citing “absence of quorum.”
In a separate development involving GNCC, Rustavi 2 TV’s former general director Irakli Chikovani has become the Commission’s new chairman last week, after the parliament approved him as a new member of GNCC on June 12.
