MIA: Shots Fired, Hand Grenade Tossed at Police Office

An unknown attacker fired shots from automatic sub-machine gun and then tossed an F-1 hand grenade in direction of a local police headquarters of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said on Sunday.

No one was injured as a result of the incident which occurred at 1:30pm local time on March 22, the ministry said in a brief statement.
