NATO Experts Evaluate Georgia Army Training System
A group of experts from NATO has paid a three day fact-finding visit to Georgia to lay out a plan on how the alliance can help to enhance the Georgian army’s training system, the Georgian Defense ministry said.
“The experts in several weeks will make conclusions based on which a concrete action plan will be developed on how to assist the Georgian army in education, training programs, including based on lessens learned principle,” Giorgi Muchaidze, the Georgian deputy defense minister, said on March 18, referring to “lessons learned” from the August war.
