MoD Spokesperson Becomes Imedi TV News Chief

Nana Intskirveli, who has been the Defense Ministry’s spokesperson up until now, has become Imedi television station’s director of news.

Intskirveli was Rustavi 2 TV’s journalist before joining the Defense Ministry in 2005.

In another media and politics-related developments, Irakli Alasania, a leader of the opposition Alliance for Georgia, has picked up a former Rustavi 2 TV journalist, Vako Avaliani, as his spokesman.
