Turkish State Minister Visits Georgia

Kürsad Tüzmen, the Turkish state minister for foreign trade, will start his two-day visit to Georgia on February 23.

Accompanied by dozens of Turkish businessmen, the State Minister will participate in a Turkish-Georgian business forum. He is also expected to meet with Georgian PM Nika Gilauri.

Turkey is the Georgia’s major trading partner with the trading volume amounting to USD 1.2 billion, up by 33.7% over 2007. Trading volume with Turkey accounted for 15.9% (rose by 1.9%) of the total foreign trade turnover.
