New Deputy Public Defender Appointed

Giorgi Chkheidze, a former head of the watchdog Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association, has been appointed as a deputy to Public Defender, Sozar Subari.

Chkheidze has replaced Sophio Khorguani, who has resigned after deciding to go into politics and to join the opposition Republican Party.
