PM Leaves for Germany for Medical Treatment
PM Grigol Mgaloblishvili has left for Germany on Wednesday morning for further medical treatment, the Georgian media sources reported.
The government said in a statement on January 19 that during his first medical examination in Germany earlier this month he was diagnosed with nephropathy – a kidney disease. His health condition is now “satisfactory,” the statement said and added that in Germany his “medical treatment process will be assessed.”
Reports say that the PM is expected to stay in Germany before the end of this week and on January 26 he is expected to attend a high-level energy summit in Budapest on proposed Nabucco gas pipeline.
