Bakradze to Leave Hospital on Friday

Health condition of Davit Bakradze, the Parliamentary Chairman, will leave hospital later on Friday and he will be able to get back to work in few days, the Georgian media sources reported citing doctors.

Speaking with journalists from his hospital bed Bakradze said he underwent “a standard” medical intervention to fragment kidney stone in the National Center for Urology.

“But one of the medications triggered allergic reaction, which caused the complications,” Bakradze said.

“Thanks to our doctors’ professionalism, I can assure you that there will be no need for election of a new parliamentary chairman,” he told journalists jokingly.
