MIA: Policeman Injured at S.Ossetia Border

A Georgian policeman was wounded after a fire was opened in direction of the police post in the village of Khurvaleti at 9:30pm local time on December 17, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said in a statement on Thursday.

The village is located at the administrative border of breakaway South Ossetia in south-east from Tskhinvali.

“The fire was opened from the territory controlled by the Russian occupiers,” the Ministry said.
