Georgian PM, FM Visit Brussels

Georgian Prime Minister, Grigol Mgaloblishvili, and Foreign Minister, Eka Tkeshelashvili, are in Brussels holding talks with EU and NATO officials.

Foreign Minister Tkeshelashvili will take part in NATO-Georgian Commission meeting scheduled for December 3 on a sideline of NATO foreign ministerial summit.

James Appathurai, NATO spokesman, said at a news conference in Brussels on December 1 that ongoing NATO support to Georgia, which also involves assessment Georgia’s military capabilities by the alliance, would be discussed at the NATO-Georgia commission.

Georgian PM, Grigol Mgaloblishvili, plans talks with EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, External Relations Commissioner, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs and Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for justice, freedom and security, Jacques Barrot, according to the Georgian government.
