Kouchner Meets Burjanadze

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner met Nino Burjanadze, the former parliamentary chairperson and now the president of the Foundation for Democracy and Development (FDD), on October 10.

The sides discussed the Russo-Georgian war, the forthcoming talks in Geneva, settlement of the current situation, and the development of democratic processes in the country, the FDD press office reported.

During his visit to Georgia on August 9-10, Kouchner held talks with Georgian officials and some opposition leaders.
