Georgian PM Visits U.S.
Georgian Prime Minister Lado Gurgenidze and Finance Minister Nika Gilauri left for the United States on October 11 to discuss the current economic situation in Georgia with U.S. officials.
They will hold talks with representatives of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as with U.S. Under Secretary for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs Reuben Jeffery.
During the visit, Gurgenidze will also meet his Armenian counterpart, Tigran Sarkisyan, according to the government’s press office.
